What to visit 3 days in Milan

Capitale internazionale della moda e del design, Milano è una città ricca di attrazioni spettacolari e lussuose, capace di offrire ai suoi visitatori esperienze davvero uniche.

There are truly many reasons that make Milan a city worth discovering.
Visiting Milan means getting lost among its elegant streets and admiring the windows of luxury shops .
Have lunch or dinner in one of the many chic restaurants, as well as enjoy a special aperitif on a breathtaking terrace.
Visiting Milan means immersing yourself in wonderful museums and art exhibitions. As well as attending the many national and international events, fashion and otherwise, which take place throughout the year.
Here are the three places that absolutely must not be missed during your 3-day visit to Milan .

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Fashion Quadrilatero
The first stop to include in your itinerary is undoubtedly the beautiful Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II .
Called by the Milanese simply La Galleria, known as the living room of Milan, it is one of the undisputed symbols of the city. The reason is easy to say: its unmistakable bourgeois and worldly style, embellished by the wonderful and imposing neo-Renaissance architecture.
Located close to the famous Piazza del Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is the right place to start your tour of Milan. Inside there are several luxury boutiques, where you can buy some small gifts.
Afterwards, I suggest you stop for lunch at chef Carlo Cracco's restaurant or that of his colleague Niko Romito, both starred and truly amazing.
If instead you want an aperitif , I recommend a stop in the Terrazza Duomo 21 or at the Martini Roof Club. Two tastefully furnished and decidedly glamorous cocktail bars, both of which have a splendid terrace with spectacular views of the Duomo.
From the Gallery it only takes a few steps on foot to immerse yourself in what is known throughout the world as the Fashion Quadrangle . The luxury shopping area par excellence, delimited by 4 famous Milanese streets: Via Monte Napoleone, Via della Spiga, Via Manzoni and Corso Venezia.
Here you can find numerous clothing stores of the most famous national and international fashion brands. In a refined atmosphere, among beautiful period buildings. Like the imposing Palazzo Morando, now home to the Museum of Milan and the Costume Moda Immagine collection.
If you want to stay in this neighborhood, I recommend booking a suite in one of the wonderful hotels in the area. Like the Four Season Hotel Milano, a truly unique luxury hotel , where you can feel pampered from the first moment.

Brera district
Among the many neighborhoods of Milan, Brera stands out for its picturesque and distinctly romantic soul, which fascinates anyone who visits it.
For centuries it has represented the favorite Milanese neighborhood for artists, both residents and those passing through, so much so that it is often compared to the famous Marais in Paris.
It is no coincidence that Brera hosts very important cultural places, such as the Pinacoteca , where masterpieces by extraordinary authors such as Raphael and Mantegna are preserved. Bramante, Tintoretto, Canova and many others.
The famous Kiss by Francesco Hayez is just one of the many examples of very famous paintings exhibited in the Pinacoteca. I therefore advise you to book a guided tour of the museum; a unique experience that I'm sure will involve you.
Also in the Brera district, the beautiful Botanical Garden , a recently restored oasis of peace and greenery, and the Church of San Marco are worth a visit. The latter was in the past the home of great figures such as Mozart and Giuseppe Verdi, and has wonderful frescoes inside.
Walking through the streets you will continually encounter small artisan shops, art cafés, antique shops, characteristic bistros and ethnic restaurants that will entice you to enter. Places like Tibi Bistrot Provencal or the Fashion Café are perfect for a chic and tasty aperitif .
If, however, you want a restaurant for a romantic candlelit occasion, I suggest you book a table on the splendid terrace of the Clotilde Brera, with a magnificent view of Piazza San Marco.
The Brera district is therefore a fundamental stop to get to know the elegant and glamorous character of the city in depth.

Even better if you are accompanied by our comfortable and refined travel bags . Suitable for any type of holiday, ideal for a pleasant weekend in Milan.

Sforzesco Castle
The last attraction that I suggest you add to your list of places to visit in Milan is the imposing Castello Sforzesco .
Located on the outskirts of the historic center and not far from the Brera district, this splendid fortress represents one of the most important historical symbols of the city.
The Sforzesco castle, one of the largest in Europe, houses numerous museums such as that of ancient art, musical instruments or the Museum of Prehistory.
But what is most fascinating are the large and wonderful courtyards, the external square with its fountain, the splendid towers and walls surrounding the fortress. It's really lovely to walk around both inside and outside the castle.
Entrance to the courtyards is free but, if you have time, I suggest you delve deeper by taking part in one of the guided tours that take place every day, except Mondays.
Adjacent to the castle is the immense Sempione Park , another symbolic place of the city of Milan. A wonderful green treasure, with many tree-lined avenues, gardens and a small pond located right in the center of the park. Ideal for carving out a few moments surrounded by nature, but without giving up urban comforts.
And to conclude your delicious tour in style, I invite you to reach the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie, located a few hundred meters from the Sforzesco Castle.
In the church square stands the museum which houses the beautiful Last Supper , better known as Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper. Truly magnificent and unmissable.
During your days in Milan don't forget to go to one of our My Style Bags stores in the city.
Such as the store at number 71 in Corso Garibaldi or the one in Via Fratelli Ruffini n.9, located just a few steps from the Cenacolo Museum.

In the center as well as in various neighborhoods, the iconic style of Milan comes out strong and unmistakable. Like the fragrance of an intoxicating perfume or a strong-flavored cocktail. Impossible to resist.
