Paris is a city that completely envelops you: it surprises you with its beauty and delights you with the flavors of its cuisine.
It is one of the most beautiful cities on the old continent to visit in any season. Here you will be fascinated by art, culture, history and romance.
Despite being a city always full of tourists, the Ville Lumiere is the ideal place for those who love luxury shops, elegant boulangerie and restaurants that highlight refined French cuisine.
If you are planning a trip to this beautiful city and want to get to know it better, here are some tips on what to do and what places to visit in 3 days in Paris .

Eiffel Tower
To start your visit to Paris with the right welcome, you must start from the iconic monument that represents the essence of the city: the Eiffel Tower, a majestic iron structure built at the end of the 19th century.
The tower stands as a symbol of grandeur and beauty, dominating the Parisian skyline from its 300 meters high. Its imposing iron legs stand out against the sky, attracting the gaze of visitors from all over the world.
You may not know it, but the Eiffel Tower is taller in summer than in winter. In the summer heat the iron can extend up to 12 centimeters higher. While, in winter, the iron can be retracted up to 6 centimetres. This curiosity is incredible.
If you don't suffer from vertigo you can climb to the top to admire the extraordinary skyline of the city. From up there the Seine meanders through the city, monuments such as the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe and the Notre-Dame Cathedral rise majestically, while the rooftops of Paris disappear into the horizon. It will be a viewing experience you will remember for a long time.
Take advantage of this magical atmosphere to stay a little longer on the tower, with a dinner in the starred Jules Verne restaurant, 125 meters high. In addition to enjoying French haute cuisine dishes, you will enjoy breathtaking views.
After the view from the Eiffel Tower, I recommend you continue on foot towards the beautiful Trocadero, from its terrace you will enjoy another breathtaking panorama: the beautiful water features of the fountains. I recommend you bring your camera with you and take great shots.
If you are looking for an exclusive place to stay, I have the one for you: I'm talking about St James's Paris in Place Adenauer, a stone's throw from Trocadero. This castle, nestled in 5000 square meters of greenery, boasts breathtaking architecture, fine cuisine, a charming library bar and Guerlain spa. A magical interlude of true well-being for your 3 days in Paris.
Should you arrive before the scheduled check-in time, feel free to leave your comfortable and luxurious travel bags in one of the suites, so you can continue exploring the city and immediately enjoy its infinite beauties.

Old Town
After seeing the enchanted landscape of the Parisian castles, the time has come to get lost in its historic center and discover all its beauties.
The geographical and historical center of Paris is the Ile de la cité , itself considered a historic monument of the city, as it is home to Notre Dame Cathedral, the Conciergerie and the Sainte Chapelle.
You will be struck by Notre-Dame , which, although seriously damaged in 2019, retains its beautiful facades with stained glass windows
Walking around the island, you will pass in front of the Conciergerie , symbol of the powerful French monarchy, which over time became a royal residence, and then became a prison.
This islet in the Seine is a very suggestive area and, despite being very often full of tourists, it still retains its charm. It hides some real pearls including the beautiful Place Dauphine , where even today the locals meet to drink and eat away from the crowds.
You will find that Place Dauphine is reminiscent of old Paris with trees, bistros, bowling greens and the sound of people drinking. I recommend you stop in this square to enjoy something.
Overlooking the small square, you could try the escargots or the carré d'agneau, cooked by Restaurant Paul which offers typically French dishes, with that pinch of innovation that doesn't hurt.
A few more steps and you will find yourself in front of the Louvre , the largest museum in the world and another symbol of Paris, which preserves timeless artistic treasures in its majestic galleries, such as Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa.
In case you feel like a real French breakfast with madeleines and pain d'epices, treat yourself to a stop at Sebastian Gaudard, an elegant and old-fashioned tea room a stone's throw from the Louvre and Les Tuileries.
For some well-deserved rest, I recommend heading to the Tuileries Gardens , an oasis of serenity where you can relax and immerse yourself in the beauty of the flowers, fountains and sculptures that adorn them.
At the bottom of the gardens, the Champs-Élysées begins, one of the most iconic streets in the world, full of luxury boutiques, cafes and theaters. This beautiful tree-lined avenue is impressive for its width and above all for its scenographic effect.
The first luxury shops were born at the beginning of the 20th century. Over time, ateliers of the most prestigious brands have appeared in refined buildings in these avenues. Unmissable are the two fashion giants, Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior, with the spectacular installations on their buildings, an expression of the fusion of art and fashion.

Montmartre
I was recently in Paris and I can confirm that my favorite neighborhood is definitely Montmartre , a stop that shouldn't be missed in your 3 days in the French capital. As you walk the cobbled streets of Montmartre, you'll feel like you're in an impressionist painting. I love its narrow alleys, brightly colored houses covered in ivy and cute cafes that create a charming setting.
One of the most famous places in Montmartre is the famous artists' square, the Place du Tertre which offers an enchanting and bohemian atmosphere between colors and brushes.
In fact, here you will find many street artists and painters who dedicate themselves to their creations under the watchful eye of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica . Sit on the steps and enjoy the spectacular view of the city of Paris. We are at a height of 200 m above sea level and the cathedral is truly immense and beautiful. Consider that on clear days, the dome of Montmartre is visible up to 30 km away.
You can't leave Montmartre without first enjoying a great crepe in one of my favorite places. La Creperie Brocéliande on Rue de Trois Frères is a small family-run place where you can try the best savory and sweet Breton crepes and biscuits in the city.
And before leaving Paris, don't forget to go to the My Style Bags store, in Rue De Grenelle 23, where you can admire the delightful new collection of chic and customizable travel bags perfect for every weekend.
Paris is the most romantic city in Europe, where you return several times to immerse yourself in the large illuminated avenues, to stroll across its bridges or to dine in the lively bistros. Impossible to resist.
The perfect choice to spend a pleasantly elegant and lively 3-day holiday. Pack your bags: Paris awaits you.
